You need:

  • 1 cup brown lentils, cooked
  • 1/2 pound Italian sausage
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

To prepare:

  1. Heat oven to 200°C
  2. Put all ingredients into a food processor and pulse until mixed together
  3. Form into meatballs and put on a cookie sheet
  4. Bake for 20 minutes
  5. Serve over spaghetti, zucchini noodles, or in a pita with marinara and provolone cheese
